While F# is a functional language, it is possible to do object oriented programming in it. This gives the power to the language to interact with the standard and other third party .NET libraries. The basic syntax elements are covered by the presentation to get you started. The presentation also covers the two styles of object oriented programming in F#: functional and standard object oriented.
Who is Attila Tamás Zimler?
Attila has been involved with the computer hardware and software industry for 15 years. In his first half of professional years he mostly used C++, while in the second half C#. During his university years, he studied as specialization the commonality between programming languages and acquired knowledge about more than 20 of them during his 15 years in the field. Software development for him is a hobby and a profession at the same time. He is currently looking for opportunities to participate in interesting project on the Australian market.
