An annual walk-through holiday lights display at Wilshire Trails Park, Wilshire Wonderland of Lights has become a Gainesville holiday tradition!

Opening each year on Thanksgiving Eve, the Rock Creek Greenway transforms into a wonderland of lights. What began in 2020 at Wilshire Trails continues annually with bistro lighting throughout the greenway to Rock Creek Veterans Park, just one block from the historic square in downtown Gainesville.

## Concessions

The concessions stand opens the Friday after Thanksgiving and continues Thursdays-Sundays. Grab piping-hot cups of cocoa and/or crisp apple cider to wash down cookies and popcorn.

## Holly Jolly Trolley

While jotting down your seasonal festivities list, and before checking it twice, make sure you add a ride on the Holly Jolly Trolley from historic downtown Gainesville to Wilshire Wonderland of Lights.
The free transit service runs from 5-10 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday through late December, connecting riders with the historic square in downtown Gainesville – home of award-winning growlers and tasting rooms, restaurants and retailers; and, of course, Gainesville Parks & Recreation's Wilshire Wonderland of Lights.
