I am adding this one to our event schedule even though I will not be able to attend (heading out of town for vacation on the 15th). If you'd be willing to host the event, please let me know. :)

On the third Friday of every month in the spring and summer, come enjoy the sunset from Lake Lanier Olympic Park’s Northeast Georgia Health System Plaza with friends and neighbors!

Food Truck Fridays (5-9pm) include live music, food trucks, beer & wine tents, and retail vendors. Entry to the plaza and concert is free and open to the public!

Outside food and drink is permitted by the way. Also, depending on the crowd, the seating can be a struggle to find - I suggest bringing a bag chair.

Shuttle Details:
Attendees will be shuttled from this lot to Lake Lanier Olympic Park.

Vehicles are encouraged to use the Tower side parking lot as a drop-off area and as a way to keep traffic moving if you need to turn around to head back to off-site parking from the park.

Shuttles are handicap accessible.

Unfortunately, animals are not permitted on shuttle vehicles.

On-site parking at Lake Lanier Olympic Park is LIMITED!

Courtesy dock, if arriving by boat! About 15 spots available in total.
Handicap accessible and public restrooms.

Pets allowed! Must be well-behaved and leashed.

Is anyone a lover of Foreigner, Journey and Boston's music like me? I have researched this band and they are legit, and really sound great for a tribute band!

Let's enjoy a Thursday night listening live to some of our most iconic and favorite songs from these three bands!

About the band:

Fronted by Brandon Miller Touring guitarist of the Artimus Pyle Band and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame drummer of Lynyrd Skynyrd, A Foreigner's Journey to Boston delivers the iconic hits that defined a generation.

Cheapest seats are $47.60/each and that includes fees and taxes. I have uploaded a picture of the seating. Our seats would be the back two rows highlighted in green.

If anyone would like me to purchase their ticket when I purchase mine, just let me know. For now, the show is three months away, BUT sometimes these tickets can go quick! I'll keep an eye on the availability over the coming weeks and if I see that we need to purchase asap, I'll let you know; otherwise, my plan would be to make the purchase no later than 3/28.

I was sharing with one of our members over dinner how much I have wanted to have one of these and she highly recommended Kristi at Bodies in Motion, where she visits regularly. Join me!

There is a minimum of eight attendees required (max per class is 15). If there isn't at least eight attendees, we'll cancel and rethink doing the class at a different day/time. The cost is $25 per person due to me by May 9th.

Experience the ambient tones of Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls, chimes, gongs, and other instruments that will calm your nervous system, quiet your mind, and bring your body into a state of resonance and balance.

Wear loose fitting clothing and dress in layers to ensure your comfort. Bring your yoga mat and water bottle. Extra yoga mats, blankets, eye pillows, and bolsters will be available.
