What we're about
The Melbourne Android GDG is for developers who are interested in Android and other exciting google technologies. In addition to Android we also cover a diverse array of topics such as Machine Learning, VR and AR, Kotlin, Wearables and IOT.
We hold monthly meetups in the Melbourne CBD, on the last Wednesday of each month. We typically have two lightning talks coupled with a longer presentation. Each meetup also includes time to talk and network, a summary of new software and hardware releases, and a time for local developers who have shipped new products to introduce them to the community. Drinks, cold beer, and pizza are provided!
We regularly holds special events, such as a Google IO recap, free training sessions, DevFests, Christmas parties, etc.
