What we're about

This group is for everyone who loves using WordPress, wants to learn more about WordPress, or is just thinking about starting a WordPress site. Rookies, occasional users, and WordPress pros - all are welcome. We have built a WordPress community in Geneva and area, where people can bring their projects, questions, share their expertise, and make connections. We have co-working meetups, new user workshops, and show-and-tell events where you can show off your projects. (And we are open to suggestions about other types of events!) Both French and English speakers welcome! WordPress knows no borders :)

Some guidelines :

• At meetups there is no clients and providers : we come to learn and share know-how.

• Do not promote yourself or your service, when you talk publicly

• We support the WordPress community values, especially the user freedom (free software principles) and free access to as much people as possible (meetups are free).

• We tend to make people autonomous and teach them how to find solutions, based on the WordPress mission : "Democratize Publishing"

• We encourage people to contribute to WordPress on any form (translation, etc)
