This relaxed and friendly gathering is for anyone who enjoys writing, storytelling, or simply talking about ideas.
You might be a published author, someone working on a novel, a journal writer, or someone who has never written a page but feels there might be a story inside waiting to come out.
At this Lively Minds meetup we’ll simply get together and chat about writing in all its forms, while enjoying a coffee or lunch.
We might:
• share ideas for stories or books
• read a short paragraph or extract we’ve written (only if you want to)
• talk about books we admire and why they work
• discuss how people actually get published today
• swap tips, inspiration and encouragement
There’s no pressure and no formal workshop structure — just a group of curious minds enjoying good conversation about creativity and storytelling.
Feel free to bring:
• a short extract from something you’ve written
• a favourite passage from a book you love
• or simply your curiosity.
