Fate of the Heartbloom DND5e (closed)
Details
This is a homebrew DND 5e campaign written by me.
When the sea between worlds threatened to swallow them whole, a ruler of leaf and light gave up their name, their future, and their body, becoming something rooted and endless. From that sacrifice grew a heart strong enough to hold an archipelago together—an island chain drifting between tides of magic, fed by a single, living source.
For generations, the islands flourished. Forests grew where memory was thickest. Time bent kindly. Stories walked and spoke and sometimes forgot they were only stories.
But living things are not meant to power others forever.
Now the archipelago is weakening. The forests thin. The magic falters. And somewhere in the turning gears of clever minds, something has learned how to draw power without giving anything back.
Those who should listen do not believe the danger is real.
Those who do believe are not strong enough to stop it alone.
And so the call reaches outward—through thinning places, broken rules, and quiet villages that were never meant to matter.
This is a story about borrowed power and stolen time.
About what happens when preservation becomes exploitation.
About whether a world built on sacrifice can be saved without demanding another.
You are not the first to be called.
But you may be the last who can answer.
Regular players are: Jessie(DM), Derek, Ioana, Jeremiah, Nick, Matthew.
