3 Mile Mohican Covered Bridge Falls, Old trail Loop, Optional 7 Mile Fire Tower

We will meet at the Covered Bridge Main parking area along the river next to the bathrooms. The signs point to campground B and we will meet at the first parking lot.

Hike #1 We will follow the Clear Fork River to Lyon's Falls and continue on to the dam. Cross the Pleasant Hill Dam and then follow an old trail above the rock formations and back to the Covered Bridge. All Level pace, nobody left behind.

Optional Hike #2
We will go up to the old shelter house and come back down and then follow hogback hollow trail to the fire tower, Up the fire tower for the steps and the view and then back down. Hop on the mountain bike trail behind the tower and follow that back to the covered bridge. Pace will try to stay close to 3 mph average.

Bring snack and water. Trekking poles recommended . Dress appropriately for the weather.

Bathroom at start point. No water sources on trail.
