About us
Meet other local people who speak and are interested in practicing modern Greek, discuss the current and on-going economic crises, argue over the resiliency - and superiority - of Greek culture and the modern Greek state, or any other phil-Hellenic interest.
Enjoy some olives, cheese, krasi and pita bread, washed down with 3,000 years of unmatched history (or ouzo if you're into cliches)!

Regal Cinemas Gallery Place Stadium 14 Movie Theater, Gallery Place, 701 7th St NW, Washington, DC 20001, Washington, Di, USThe new film Kapodistrias, the historical drama about Greece's first Governor that tells the story of his “life of service, sacrifice, and devotion to freedom,” screens here in the Washington area - for one night only - on Wednesday, April 22nd. Since it’s playing downtown at the Regal Gallery Place (701 Seventh Street NW, seven blocks from my office) at 6:30 pm, I have bought two tickets to that show. Let me know if you want to join me, both for the film and/or for a drink before the movie at Zaytinya. The theater is a small one, so buy tickets now. You can do that here -
