Purim Gift Basket Work Party
Details
Purim, the queerest holiday of the year, is on Mar. 2nd & 3rd. Most shuls focus on the big party, drag and hearing the Megillah. But one of the other mitzvahs of the holiday is to give charity &/or food to the poor. Queer & trans youth are being vilified by this administration; so let's show them some love. Join us on Sunday, Mar 1st at 1 pm for a Matanot LaEvyonim Work party. Bring donations (list will be provided) to create baskets to take to organizations supporting homeless queer & trans youth.
