The Samurai Seven fuse speed‑pop, new wave, punk energy, and sharp melodic hooks, drawing comparisons to The Who, The Beach Boys, Buzzcocks, and Adam & The Ants. They built a reputation for wild, high‑octane gigs — scissor‑kicks, flying‑V guitars, sharp suits, and tight harmonies. NME famously called them:

We'll meet in the bar from 7.45pm for pre-gig chat, drinks & greeting any newcomers, before doors open at around 8.00pm.
