Mystery and History Hike at West Neck Creek Natural Area

We'll walk/hike for two hours starting in the parking lot at 2249 N. Landing Road VA Beach 23456. The mystery is that it's been a while since I've hiked there and there is a new trail I want to check out. The history is The Whitehurst-Buffington House built in 1793. https://www.wbhouse.org/. It is open for tours 1:00-4:00 on Saturdays.

I hope to cover four to five miles in the two hours. I stop for good photo opportunities and interesting flora and fauna. If it is a rainy week some of the trails may by soggy so be prepared. If you plan on touring the house it may be good to have a second pair of shoes so we're not messing up the floors. There is a suggested donation of $5.00 for the tour (about 30 minutes), $4.00 for seniors/military and $3.00 for students.
