9AM Sunday. FLSP. 6-7 Miles. ~3.5 MPH.

9 AM Sunday. Meet behind the Food Lion @ 2817 Shore Dr Virginia Beach, VA 23451. (SE corner of rear parking lot, GPS 36.911568, -76.066089). We are going to leave promptly at 9:01. Expected 6-7 miles, ~ 2-2.5 hours. It's about 30 min (1.75 mi) from the meeting spot to the Trail Center. The other 3-4 miles will be looping around the various trails. Speed: Walking with intent. (i.e. not strolling). Think of a "brisk walk" for a couple hours with a few breaks. If you have done any of the hikes at FLSP with MOLTEN, that's what I'm shooting for. He is temporarily unable to do this walk, so I asked to fill in for him. Out of respect for our bladders, we will be stopping at the visitor/Trail Center on the way in, and the way out. The Food Lion is also a great place to make a pit-stop before the hike. Sorry for the late notice. Hope to see you there!
