Have you ever heard a voice when no one was there? Do you have visual experiences or perceive presences, or energies that slip past others?
For centuries, these sorts of phenomena have been the sparks of radical artistic creation and deep spiritual inquiry. They are realities to be explored, not a brain disease or defects to be silenced or cured.
These experiences do sometimes cause people distress, usually as a result of fear or stigma but with just a little bit of guidance and practice they can be trained and used as powerful tools for spirituality, cosmic exploration, and creative expression.
History is filled with artists, writers, scientists, musicians and more who openly stated their work was dictated to them by muses, voices, or visions including people like John Lennon, Albert Einstein, George Lucas (Starwars) and many more.
The Hearing Voices Network (HVN) is an international consortium that has supported thousands of people who experience voices and other unusual phenomena for nearly 40 years.
This is a new Intervoice compliant group that meets both online and in person in the Melbourne outer eastern suburbs at the Nunawading Community Hub Meeting Room 1, 96-106 Springvale Rd, Nunawading VIC 3131, 7:30pm - 9:15pm on Wednesday nights or on Zoom.
Writers, artists, mystics, and everyday voyagers are welcome. If you are finding voices and other unusual experiences distressing or a problem you are very welcome also to join us either in person at the Community hub or online.
