What we’re about
We are the New Hampshire Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club. We have many activities going on each month. Our volunteer Trip Leaders lead trips to many places in northern New England, some that may be familiar and many that will be completely new to you. We'll take you to the tallest peaks of the Presidential Range and to the smaller ones, like Willard and Major. On our trips, the safety of the group is always paramount. All of our activities are led by trained volunteer Trip Leaders and may vary from single day to multi-day events. While many of our trips are posted here, you can always find our hikes listed on the AMC Outdoor Connector. We hope to see you on the trail!

##### WOMENS+ MAP AND COMPASS
A one day (all day) event designed to introduce women+ to the basics of map and compass. Introduction to basic map and compass skills with hands on practice in a classroom setting followed by an opportunity to use map and compass skills in the field.
- Morning introduction to map and compass classroom session
- Afternoon 2 mile accessible hike to practice skills followed by a 2 mile bushwhack (off trail hike). Total 4 miles

Space is limited.You must bring a BASE PLATE COMPASS and PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR. MORE INFORMATION ABOUT GEAR AND CLOTHING PROVIDED AFTER YOUR REGISTRATION IS ACCEPTED.
##### AMC NH WOMEN'S+ EDUCATIONAL AND HIKE SERIES IS HAPPENING AGAIN! THE PURPOSE OF THIS SERIES FOR WOMEN+ IS TO BUILD SKILLS, CONFIDENCE AND CAMARADERIE. PARTICIPANTS CAN JOIN ONE OR ALL THREE EVENTS.
