Chamberlain trail to Captain Jack Trail via Stratton Open Space

MEET: We meet in the parking lot at Stratton Open Space off W. Cheyenne Road
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: This moderate hike is 7ish miles and about 1,400 ft elevation gain hike (round trip/ out and back).
We will hike on the Chamberlain trail up to Okd Camo Rd then Captain Morgan trail to Captain Jack. After pics and a break, we'll hike back to the parking lot.
Not a lot of hikers on this trail but expect mountain bikers in some sections.
ANIMALS: Welcome.
NEEDED: WATER, hiking boots, light jacket, hat, sunscreen, first aid kit, FOOD (snacks/drinks). Hiking poles are suggested on this hike.
Socializing and drinking/eating and photos at several scenic spot.
