Armijo > Faulty > Cañoncito > Crest Trail > Cienega

Time: 8:00am (please be prompt because we will leave by 8:05am)

Who Should Attend: Only active, experienced hikers who are physically capable of hiking ~14 miles at a 2.5+ mph pace should plan on attending. Elevation Gain: Approx. 3,200+ft. If I haven't hiked with you before I will need to ask you a few questions to make sure you will be able to keep up with the group.

The plan is to take Armijo to Faulty. Then south on Faulty to Bart’s trail. Cañoncito trail will take us up to the Crest trail. We’ll then follow Crest trail south to South Sandia peak. After a short break to take in the views we will hike North on Crest trail to Cienega trail and take it down to our cars. Total Distance ~14 miles. Elevation gain 3,200+ft.

Unplugged Hike: You are more than welcome to bring your cell phone on the hike, but it just needs to be on silent.

Dogs: Not allowed this time.
