55 KM - Älmhult loop - 2 Days - 1 Night

Hi,

This is peak summer hiking - and a scenic camp site by the lake. It's a decent distance, but we'll have plenty of daylight and we'll take our time.

The planned camp site for Saturday night is approx. at 34 km - so expect a long day on Saturday, and a shorter hike on Sunday.

Sunday morning: we head out at 9:00 - latest.

Show up fully self-supported as usual - as if you were going solo. Pay extra attention to potentially high temperatures, hydration needs, and bring your favorite anti-mosquito technology. Water supply options are somewhat uncertain, so consider your needs, your carrying capacity, and water purification tech. Advice: start out with minimum 2 liters.

It's a 2 hour train ride from CPH central. Departure 9:14.
Öresundtåg 1040 to Kalmar C.
Destination is Älmhult station, at 11:15.
