Grange over Sands and Cartmel

A 12 - 13 mile walk starting at the quaint Victorian seaside resort of Grange over Sands.
The route starts with a climb to Hampsfell Hospice for glorious views over Morecambe Bay and the Lake District hills. It passes through Cartmel village, (famous for the races and sticky toffee pudding) then heads to Humphrey Head nature reserve before following the shoreline back to Grange. Optional post walk drink at Commodore Inn.
Decent pace, toilets at Cartmel, ice-cream at Wraysholme Creamery.
