Millers Dale and Monsal Head

An alternative to the Crib Goch weekend is this White Peak classic taking in some of Chee Dale (weather permitting), Hill Dale, Upperdale and Monsal Head/ Trail. Lots of dramatic limestone scenery along the way.

12 miles approx but should there have been heavy rainfall the stepping stones at Chee Dale may be omitted (will then be a 10 mile route)

Decent pace and a few short steep climbs. Toilets at Millers Dale and Monsal Head. Optional post walk drink at the Anglers Rest.
