What we’re about
"Take your pick" Because of the wide circle of members and the events we host in those areas, you can take your pick and stick to your local or travel out a bit further to join in some of the events a bit further out. It is not uncommon to see more than one event posted on the same day.
We’re a fun group of people 30+, we have many interesting and diverse events every week. We are predominantly an over 50's group with most of our members having been here for a long time, so if you are looking to start a group within a group for the younger crowd please bring your idea's along.
We care about our member’s safety and wellbeing, which is why we have a few questions and rules that need to be followed to maintain everyone’s integrity.
We cover the Hills, Blacktown and Hawkesbury, Hornsby, Northern Beaches, and occasionally the City and Central Coast! Also have weekends away & ocassional overseas trips, bus trips all the things people do to have a bit of adventure & fun.
A joining fee applies of $10 to help with the meetup fees as most events are only charged for when costs have to be covered. This doesn't mean you will not be removed for non- attendance as this group is for active members and not for people who collect meetup groups as badges.
A headshot photo of your face must be applied ( unless there is a good reason why you can't )
If you are a no-show 3 times you will be removed from the group, this includes late withdrawals from events.
If you create any unwanted behavior or attention toward any member of the group you will be removed, reported, and blocked.
Having said that!
This group is about people who like to have fun times dance with friends in clubs & attend shows wherever we can find them. There is so much to see and do across the Hills to the Coast and many wonderful places to eat, drink and be merry.
