West Bench Trail - Grand Mesa

Join us for a hike on the West Bench Trail on Grand Mesa!

The West Bench trail winds through the woods from Jumbo Reservoir along the Northwest rim of Grand Mesa. The trail is about 7 miles ROUND TRIP if we go the whole way and is listed as "moderate" here: [gjhikes.com: West Bench Trail](https://www.gjhikes.com/2010/06/west-bench-trail.html) We will do about 2-3 hours out and back. Some people may want to turn around earlier, and if so, we will split into two groups. Bring rain gear, lunch or snack, water, sunscreen, bug spray just in case, binos, camera, hat, etc!

Meet at the Jumbo Lake/Mesa Lakes Recreation area parking lot, just before the Mesa Lakes Lodge. There is a restroom available at the parking lot.
