About us
Our mission is to do good deeds, establish a sense of fellowship and community for the nonreligious, and to promote secular education and activism. Through doing good deeds, we aim to inspire people to do good for the sake of good. We foster a community of compassionate and rational individuals whose ethical behavior is not dependent upon belief in the supernatural. We support equality and fair treatment of all and promote humanism as a viable worldview. We welcome collaboration with others with an understanding that good deeds can be universally appreciated and respected.
We are an official chapter of the American Humanist Association and are located in Grand Junction, Colorado. We typically have one educational event, one social event, one volunteer event and one outdoor event (hiking, etc.) every month.

Bad Faith - Documentary and discussion
Mesa County Public Library Community Room, 443 North 6th Street, Grand Junction, CO, USHumanists Doing Good will be hosting a screening of the updated version of the documentary BAD FAITH followed by discussion.
BAD FAITH is a documentary that unveils the forces dividing our nation from within. The film identifies the bigoted and entirely non-Christian tenets of white supremacy as the origins of what is today called Christian Nationalism, an intentional misnomer created to suggest that the movement is rooted in religion rather than politics.
BAD FAITH investigates the alarming rise of Christian Nationalism. The movement, once on the fringes of Christian conservative thought, has surged to the forefront of American politics, driven by the belief in establishing a theocratic rule that aligns with its interpretation of Christian values. The movement seeks to dismantle the federal government, defund public health and education, and roll back the civil and political rights of millions of Americans. The film uncovers the movement's explicit agenda to enshrine white, conservative Christians as the elite governing force at the service of plutocrats.
Through interviews with religious leaders, historians, investigative journalists and political veterans, BAD FAITH explores how this ideology has skillfully seduced tens of millions and hijacked the Republican Party, becoming the most formidable political force in the nation.
