Casual walk along the Riverfront Trail in Palisade.

Join HDG for a casual walk along the Riverfront trail in Palisade. We will begin at the west end at 36 1/4 Road and walk to Riverbend Park and back. Most likely there will be a stop in the park for snacks and conversation (weather permitting). Remember to dress appropriately for the weather, and bring your cameras, binoculars and of course water and snacks. There might also be a visit to the bakery after, for those who are interested.

Meet us at the small parking lot on Canal Road just off 36 1/4 Road. From Grand Junction, from Highway 6 in Palisade, go south (toward the river) on 36 1/4 Road, cross the canal and turn left (east) onto Canal road and the parking area.

Weather this time of year can be very unpredictable, so please check this Meetup for any change of plans in the event of really extreme weather. However, a small amount of snow/rain/cold will likely not result in cancelling.
