Snowshow / Hike - Prairie Moraine Co. Park

Enjoy a snowshoe hike through Prairie Moraine Co. Park. We'll do about 2 miles of moderate terrain with a mix of Ice Age Trail and other park trails as we loop over and behind the Johnstown terminal moraine, the predominant glacial feature of this park. As we come back over the hill, we'll stop at the overlook to see the Sugar River Valley / Driftless Area. If there's not enough snow to warrant snowshoes, simply rely on your hiking boots and enjoy a crisp winter walk. We'll return to the lot at hike's end.

Dress for the weather. Hiking poles may be desired as the trail could be slick or covered with crusty snow. There are no bathroom facilities available.
