***THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER AT THE SITE - NO SINKS, BATHROOMS, OR SHOWERS*** but it's only 1 night ;)

This is just like it sounds...
we're camping in the woods
we're decorating tents and the campsite for Halloween
We're partying with costumes, a firepit, food, drinks and dance lights

This is a Halloween Party more than a camping trip...I know some people like to be quiet and sit around their own fire when they camp...I prefer that not happen this time...don't come if you aren't going to have fun and socialize with the group. Being quiet and chill and doing your own thing is ok (sometimes) on other trips...not this one. It's a Halloween Party, come planning to participate!
This is limited to 60 people so don't waste a spot if you're not into that.

We have 3 sites that hold 20 people each
they are large sites but we can't have 20 cars on each so we need to work on carpools
each site has a porta-potty
THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER at the campground: so no flush toilets, sinks or showers, so bring all the water you'll need for any need
the only running water is the creek that runs through it LOL
but hey...it's only one night ;)

cost:
$20 per person
(yeah, these sites are rustic but they aren't cheap, and some of the extra money goes to pay for the contest prizes and the meetup group fees)

Decorate your tent for Halloween - funny, spooky, etc
I'll hand out ballots so that everyone can vote on their favorite 3 tents, the tents with the most votes wins
1st place $50
2nd and 3rd place $25
votes will be tallied around 11pm

Costume Runway
I'm hoping everyone dresses up...show off your costume as we do a costume runway at the end of the Halloween dance party

DANCE PARTY
from whenever we set up until 8pm we'll have random music playing
8pm - 10pm is the Halloween Dance party - yes, all your favorite cheesy Halloween Hits like Monster Mash, Ghostbusters, Thriller, Dead Man's Party and more
then from 10pm on...normal dance hits - I want help with this...someone or two people want to volunteer to make a playlist and play DJ? I don't want to. I'll have some requests and some special IBO songs to work in of course, but otherwise, I would rather not do the music

LOCATION:
We're camping at Roundstone Campground
the the campground is easy to get to and to find,
but the sites are not
If you have not been there with us before you need to make sure you are getting emails from Meetup to get the specific driving directions to get to our sites - if you do not have this ahead of time, you will probably get lost
a detailed email will be sent out the week of the trip
