CANCELLED Night hike! No headlamps, about 6 miles

Hi all! yeah, streets in Philly aren't looking too good either. So I'm going to go the safe route with this one and cancel. I don't want anyone trying to come out and have something happen.
Hopefully it stays cold and we can try a hike again in February and do it with snow on the ground!

We're doing a night hike with no headlamps...
the moon will be at 70% and should be in the sky for our hike so light shouldn't be a problem
bring a red light for tricky spots
*If you aren't ok hiking by moonlight only, this isn't the hike for you

We'll meet at 6:45 and start hiking by 7
this should be about 6 miles and 2 hours
we'll head to the Wissahickon Brewery afterwards for anyone that wants a post-hike drink
(I wouldn't rely on them having food though)

Meeting location: At the Trail sign along the Wissahickon Creek across the street from the Wissahickon Bus/Transportation Station (note this is NOT the Wissahickon Trail station, that is up the road a bit)

Parking: you can park at the Gustine Recreation Center or at the Movie Theater in Manayunk (about a 5 minute walk)

Remember to wear appropriate footwear for hiking through the woods with rocks and roots and maybe (if we're lucky) some snow

Will hike in snow (unless it's bad driving) but cancel for rain/drizzle

Please make sure you keep your RSVPs up to date as NO SHOWS will be removed from the group
