Women in Photography - Part 3

Just when you thought there were no more women photographers to discuss, Lea has found some more. She will deliver part three of her work and will share a review of influential women photographers. We will be looking at 5 women who blazed trails in the world of photography. We will look at women from the past and current photographers. Lea will discuss their backgrounds and influences and share some interesting images.

Women in this round are Dickey Chappelle, Mary Ellen Marks, Cindy Sherman, Julia Margaret Cameron, and Berenice Abbott. You won't want to miss this event.

For our new members, the meeting will be held at Temple Baptist Church on Harpersville Road, Newport News. Parking is available in the back of the church and we meet in the Social Hall (which is the building on the left as you look at the church.)
