Join our Language & Culture Exchange Café in Kamakura!
Whether you're a foreigner wanting to connect with Japanese locals or a Japanese speaker looking to improve your English, this is the perfect place to chat, share experiences, and learn about each other's cultures in a friendly and relaxed environment.

📌 For new participants
Please note that we also accept participants through social media platforms outside of Meetup.
So the actual number of people joining the event is often higher than what is shown here.
Even if the RSVP number looks small, we usually have a friendly group gathering each time. Feel free to join us with confidence 😊

Events we are currently holding regularly:

  • LanCafé Ofuna
    A relaxed language exchange event where we chat in both English and Japanese. Great for those who want to practice both languages!

  • Nihongo Café
    A casual conversation event for people learning Japanese. We speak only in Japanese—using simple, easy-to-understand language at a slow pace.

このイベントは、Meetup以外のSNSでも参加者を募集しています。そのため、表示されている参加人数よりも実際の参加者が多いことがよくあります。
人数が少なく見えても、毎回ゆるやかに会話を楽しめるメンバーが集まってくれていますので、どうぞ安心してご参加ください☺️

現在、定期的に開催しているイベント：

  • LanCafé Ofuna
    日本語と英語でゆるくおしゃべりする、ランゲージエクスチェンジイベントです。どちらの言語も練習したい方におすすめです。

  • 日本語Café
    日本語を勉強している方のための、日本語だけで会話を楽しむイベントです。やさしい日本語で、ゆっくりおしゃべりします。
