Are you living in Japan but still feel nervous about speaking Japanese?
Or maybe you're just visiting, and want to try using the Japanese you’ve been studying?

This is a casual and friendly space where you can practice real Japanese conversation — no pressure, no judgment!

At our Speak Japanese Meetup, you’ll:

✔️Chat casually with friendly Japanese people (including me!) who are happy to talk at your pace
✔️Share questions or everyday problems about life in Japan — everyone’s here to help!
✔️Enjoy simple activities related to Japanese culture to make conversations easy, even if you're shy
✔️Get a chance to introduce your own country’s culture too — in Japanese!
✔️And most importantly, speak only Japanese throughout the event, so you can really get the practice you’ve been looking for
Unlike other language exchange events where English tends to take over, here we focus 100% on Japanese.

Whether you're a beginner or intermediate speaker, you'll feel welcome and included.

Participation Fee
1,650 yen (Pay on the day at the venue)
Includes free refills of Coffee, Tea, Japanese Tea, or Soft Drinks, plus use of the cozy event space

Please don’t worry if you see only a few people signed up on Meetup. We’re also accepting participants through other platforms and social media, so more people may be joining outside of Meetup.
Also, there will be one more friendly Japanese host with me, so even with a small group, we’ll have a relaxed and enjoyable conversation together!
