Cosmic Unwinding from Our Centers! Exploring Automatic Movement

This week's session will be a significant session for many as we will be tapping into something innate that many of us simply do not set aside the time to do regularly, if ever. Many of us have at some point experienced spontaneous jerks, shakes or seemingly automatic movements while on psychedelics, receiving bodywork or during meditation. One of the terms used to describe this unwinding process is "kriya". A kriya is triggered by the rising up of the latent energies of the body which are activated when our ego-mind endeavors to surrender and harmonize with the body. The subconscious determines when the 'I" is ready to receive these manifestations. Personally, I have noticed that I can go into these states once my Pituitary gland is in balance; other words, when my breath rate is down to 8 breaths per minute. Also, important for this transformational work is the use of ground, which in this context happens when we surrender our physical and emotional to gravity.

This session will be challenging for some as well as doing A LOT of breathing, in particular we will shoot for 7-11 minutes of Breath of Fire and regular use of breath retentions. Also I will be burning a lot of incense, frankincense. The session will also include shaking, laughter, and some basic Kundalini Yoga exercises.
