We will meet up at Jawbone Station/Friends of Jawbone at 8:30am Then drop one or two cars at out exit point, about 6 miles down Jawbone Cyn Rd. Then drive back to Cinco (south of Jawbone store) where we will start our hike.
We will be on a dirt road for a while, then there will be some uphill scrambling, first in a canyon and then a steep but short hill that will take us to the top of Barren Ridge. We will visit an old mining site before heading up another short but steep hill. From there we follow a motocycle track all the way down to Jawbone Cyn.
It's been a few years since I did this hike so it will be fun to get back there.
But if you are not into crawling on all 4 up a slippery slope, then don't sign up for this hike.
This hike is not for beginners, slow or unstable hikers.
Fun times.
