Join me from the comfort of your own home for a full tutorial on the basics of crochet and get stitching within 2 hours!
If you want to know how to crochet or you used to know how to crochet and want a refresher course, this is where you need to be!
My name is Jessica, and I have successfully taught over 100 crochet classes to people of all ages and abilities. In doing so, many have found a new hobby to fill their time or even found a way to earn an extra income selling their beautiful works of art at markets or blessing family and friends with gifts. Come see what the craft of crochet can offer you!
At the time of class, you will need:
- A crochet hook (5.0 mm, 5.5 mm or 6.0mm- these are all good beginner sizes to use on medium weight yarn)
- A few yards of medium weight (#4) yarn, preferably acrylic, but cotton is okay too. Use a rich color that is not too dark and not too light so you can see your stitches- No black, no white. Think: teal, magenta, taupe, mauve. (You can find all of this information on the yarn label)
- Your tablet, smart phone, laptop, or PC. You do not need to use your camera for this lesson, only if you'd like or find it useful.
- Microsoft Teams application downloaded onto the device you are using.
The cost is $5.00 per student
Cost includes the 2-hour tutorial and downloadable worksheet to be used after class which includes illustrations, written instructions, tips for beginners, and video links on the material learned in class.
REFUND POLICY:
A refund will be disbursed to all those signed up if the class is cancelled or rescheduled.
If you cannot make the class because something came up, please contact the host to discuss alternative options.
