Sedge Stitch Dischcloth

For this class, you must know how to complete a slip knot, a chain, a single crochet, and a double crochet.
Skill Level: Advanced beginner
This one is great for 'mindless' crocheting- you know, the kind where you crochet while watching TV or make while traveling- that produces a beautiful and quick project. A one-row repeat textured pattern, the sedge stitch is beautiful for blankets, dish clothes, scarves and more. I'll also be teaching you how to make this simple and elegant boarder, taking it from just a cleaning rag to a nice housewarming gift!
Please come prepared for class with the following:

1. 100% or blend Cotton (#3 or 4) in any color
2. A hook size 4.0 for #4 weight or 3.5-3.75 for #3 weight
3. Scissors or yarn snippers
4. tapestry needle/ darning needle
5. A device (laptop, PC, tablet, or smart phone) with Teams downloaded onto it.
The cost of this class is $10.00
Cost includes the 2-hour class and downloadable education materials with written instructions and a link to the class video.

- Can’t make it? No problem! You’ll be sent the video recording from class and any learning materials used in your email whether you join or not.
- All attendees will be refunded if any class is cancelled or rescheduled per Meetup policy.

Mini Potted Cactus Amigurumi

This class is most appropriate for beginner to advanced beginner.You must know how to complete a slip knot, chain and single crochet.
A super easy way to get into the craft of Amigurumi (stuffed crochet art) and a super cute gift to give a friend or keep in a special place for you to enjoy yourself!
Please come prepared for class with the following:
Any yarn type, preferably #2 or 3 weight(sport or DK weight) yarn in the following colors:
Brown for the soil
Color of your choice for the pot (cream/beige/brown)
Any shade of green for your cactus
Black or dark brown for smile and/or eyes
Any color for your little flower- A hook- size 3.0 (if you do use #4 weight yarn size up to 3.5 mm hook)
- Stitch marker
- Scissors or yarn snippers
- 6-9 mm safety eyes. Okay if you don’t have I’ll teach you how to embroider some simple ones!
- Darning needle
- Toy stuffing
- A device (laptop, PC, tablet, or smart phone) preferably with Teams downloaded onto it.
The cost of this class is $10.00
Cost includes the 2-hour class and downloadable education materials with written instructions and link to class recording. All documents and video to be sent within 24 hours after class has completed (for video editing).Refund Policy:
- All attendees will be refunded if any class is cancelled or rescheduled per Meetup policy.
- It’s okay if you can’t make it! You’ll receive all of the learning materials and class video with everyone else who made it or didn’t make it to class that day :)
- Coming to class is recommended. You will be able to ask questions and have repeated instruction, alternative techniques shown to maximize your learning experience!

Crochet Virus Shawl

Come learn the ever-so-popular virus crochet pattern. Once you get the first 3-4 rows down, you'll be addicted! Create a beautiful, light-weight shawl for the summer and early fall months!
Experience Level: Advanced Beginner- You must be familiar with the following stitches: slip knot, chain, single crochet, and double crochet.
Required Materials:
Please come prepared with the following:- Yarn of your choice (size 3-4)- this is a beautiful pattern that can be worked well with any yarn. I completed a "1-skein" shawl with this pattern using Lion Brand Mandala Bonus Bundle (this is the larger cake of the Mandala yarn).
- A 5.0 mm hook or corresponding hook size to yarn chosen.
- Microsoft Teams downloaded on the device you plan to use. (please note: using a work computer managed by a large organization may limit chat features).
We will not complete an entire shawl during class; however, this is a continuous pattern that keeps going until you are content with the length! You will be given all of the resources to complete this on your own :)
The cost of this course is $10.00.
