Rutland Water Hambleton Peninsula Walk

A 4.5 mile circular walk around the Hambleton Peninsula which is surrounded on three sides by Rutland water and provides great views across the reservoir all the way around and also passes through woodland. The walk follows a well kept stone path most of the way except for one sheep pasture (which can be muddy when wet).
There are toilet facilities at the start and end of the walk at the Finches Arms.
I will be booking a table for lunch at the Hambleton Bakery Cafe Hambleton Bakery – Exton Onsite Cafe & Shop. Please let me know if you would like to join for lunch.
The walk will take 2-2 1/2 hours.
Please park considerately on the road and we will meet at the church opposite the Finches Arms.
