Saturday October 11th - LxPC: ABC in the City

Cities are full of hidden letters if you know how to look. Shapes in balconies, curves of tiles, ironwork, shadows, rooftops, even cracks in the pavement can start to resemble the alphabet. On this walk, we’ll explore the city together with the challenge of finding A through Z hidden in architecture and details around us.

This isn’t about rushing or ticking off all 26 letters. It’s about slowing down, paying attention, and noticing details that usually pass us by. Personally I’m looking at this in more of a playful way to sharpen our eyes a bit, to reframe how we see Lisbon, and the city’s textures.

We’ll walk as a group and end with a drink where we can compare letters we’ve found. Feel free to wander a bit as I will share my location via WhatsApp. At the end, hopefully everyone will have their own unique alphabet of Lisbon, be it partial or complete.

Camera or phone and a willingness to look twice at familiar streets is all you need! Though a telephoto lens will certainly help you get some of the shots without having to crop as much!
