We curate events that build community and create experiences that foster new friendships and connections
We host a variety of events, primarily in the Royal Oak and Ferndale area, ranging from yoga and meditation workshops to a monthly talent show, African drumming, bike rides, and more. Our keystone event is our Local Variety Show, during which a talented lineup of performance artists and musicians share their talents with our community.

It’s showtime! Our most popular and well-attended event, enjoy a star-studded evening showcase of incredible Detroit talent for The Local Variety Show.
First time attending? Great! The Local Variety Show is open to new attendees from Meetup.
Hosted in the storied lower level at The Congregation in Detroit, this event features performances ranging from local musicians, artists, comedians, and vocalists, to poets, drummers, and dancers! Our goal is to foster creativity, community, and connections by providing a platform for our amazing community members to shine in the spotlight, sharing their art with our audience!
