Local Variety Co. presents Third Space Comedy — a monthly stand-up event in the Taproom at Urbanrest Brewing Company in Ferndale, MI.

Each show features local comedians in an intimate space filled with barrels, string lights, and good vibes. The “third space” is the place between work and home where you feel seen and celebrated for who you are. For us, it’s a celebration of comedy, creativity, community, and connection — and you’re invited.

Bill Bushart is our headliner this month. He has performed at Odd Ball Comedy Fest at DTE, headlined Michigan’s Brew HaHa, DC Comedy Fest and LaughFest in Grand Rapids. He’s worked with stand up greats Gilbert Gottfried, Mark Normand and Roy Wood, Jr., among many others.
He’s a proud member of the Michigan stand up community and a performer at comedy clubs, bars and special events throughout the Midwest.
Bill was named Funniest Comic in Detroit by readers of the Metro Times and HOUR Detroit Named him Best of Detroit Stand up.
He has been featured on WDIV Channel 4, WRIF, Detroit News and Detroit Free Press.
Not only is he a highly requested comic, he also produces stand-up shows throughout Michigan. He resides in the city of Detroit.
