Kaiyo and The Banger Factory All Stars – Featuring - Mark Kavuma, Artie Zaitz and Theo Erskine

Join us for an unforgettable night of music and conversation!
Step into the vibrant world of UK jazz as The Banger Factory All Stars bring their electrifying sound to the Karamel stage. Formed around the creative vision of trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Mark Kavuma, The Banger Factory has become one of London’s most dynamic and influential jazz collectives — a group that doesn’t just play music, but builds community, pushes boundaries, and keeps the spirit of hard‑hitting, soulful jazz alive.

Since their formation, The Banger Factory have released a string of acclaimed albums, including “The Banger Factory” (2018), “Arashi No Ato” (2020), and “Warriors” (2021) — records celebrated for their warmth, groove, and fearless improvisation. Championed by Jazz FM and BBC Radio 3, the band has lit up major venues and festivals: Ronnie Scott’s, Love Supreme Festival, We Out Here, The Vortex, Pizza Express Jazz Club, and international stages from Europe to East Africa.

At the heart of it all is Mark Kavuma — the innovator whose bold trumpet voice and visionary leadership have shaped The Banger Factory into a creative powerhouse. Kavuma’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering collaboration has made the collective a launchpad for some of the most exciting musicians in the new generation of British jazz.
