LoMAZ Extra: Harvest Festival at Surrey Docks Farm

Join us at the Harvest Festival at Surrey Docks Farm in Rotherhithe, South East London!

Celebrate the season with veggie-themed fair games (anyone up for butternut squash skittles?), lively Morris dancing, animal handling, craft stalls, entertainment, raffle, a BBQ and bar in the field, plus wood-fired pizzas and freshly picked produce from the Farm.

Set on the Thames in Rotherhithe, Surrey Docks Farm is a working city farm and charity where you can meet goats, pigs, donkeys and more, explore gardens and orchards, and connect with nature right in the heart of London.

FROM 12:15PM: MEET AT MOUSE TAIL COFFEE (optional)
Join us at Mouse Tail Coffee for coffee and chat before we set off for the Farm.

Address: 13 Maritime St, London SE16 7FU. The cafe is 4 minutes’ walk from Canada Water tube and it’s a 20 minute walk from the cafe to Surrey Docks Farm.

12:45PM: HEAD TO THE FARM

1:15PM: GATHER OUTSIDE SURREY DOCKS FARM
We’ll meet outside the gate of the Farm. Surrey Docks Farm & the Harvest Festival are FREE to enter! No pre-booking needed.

1:20PM: ENTER THE HARVEST FESTIVAL
Walk around together, or explore at your leisure!

4PM till late: PUB SOCIAL (optional)
We’ll head to The Ship and Whale for social chit chat over food and drinks.

BY TUBE OR TRAIN: Canada Water (Jubilee Line and Windrush Line) is 22 minutes’ walk. Surrey Quays station (Windrush Line) is a 20 minute walk. Rotherhithe station (Windrush line) is 25 minutes’ walk.
BY BUS: 381 to Downtown Road, about 3 minutes’ walk. C10 to Bryan Road - Surrey Docks Farm, about 3 minutes’ walk.
BY BIKE: Cycle parking is available inside the Farm.

BY CAR: The roads outside the Farm provide free non-permit parking on weekends.

BY BOAT: (yes, really!) Alight at Greenland Surrey Quays Pier, about 12 minutes’ walk from the Farm.
