Come along on Sunday 31st August to visit the Horniman Museum!
About the museum
The museum was setup in 1901 by John Horniman, the tea merchant, to show off the interesting things that he had collected from around the world.
There are over 350,000 exhibits in the museum from natural history, musical instruments, fossils, tribal artifacts and of course tea making. The museum also has an aquarium, Butterfly house and a miniature zoo.
It's set in 16 acres of landscaped gardens which you can also wander around.
The visit should last about 1h 30mins. The visit is self guiding.

Entry cost is free!
Getting there
Forest Hill Station is on the London Overground Line (Windrush Line) in Zone 3.
Afterwards
After we will head to the 'The Signal pub' 7 Devonshire Row a short walk from the museum from 4pm for a chat over a drink.
If you can, please come to the pub afterwards, as its a great way to meet others after the museum visit.
