Urban Hike -Mt Washington Moderate +

Details
Join us **AT 6:00 PM for an evening urban hike which will begin with a steep climb from the historic Mt Washington Railway Station on Avenue 43 (now a private residence). The now paved residential road used to be a dirt road with a railway that carried visitors to the top of the Mt Washington Hotel, which is now the Self Realization International Headquarters. It's about 940 ft to the top and includes a staircase near the bottom. We will also hike along Seaview Trail which is mostly flat before we head back down a different route to the start. Total of 3 staircases going UP.
You must be able to keep up with the group. There is no sweep and I do not check the app once we begin. if you fall behind you will lose sight of the group.
LEVEL: Moderate ++ for brisk pace, STEEP hills and long staircases. My pace is a bit fast, but will pause briefly at top of hills and stairs to regroup, and to pet doggies.

BRING: exercise clothes, workout shoes (hiking shoes are not necessary as trail sections are short), poles optional, sunscreen, water, phone with GPS in case u want to leave early, bug repellant? Flashlight is ok but careful not to aim at people's faces.
MEETUP SPOT: Southwest Museum of the American Indian, 234 Museum Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90065. You may have to Google directions manually as the Meetup link might be glitchy.
