Description:
Join us for one of the most scenic and strenuous day hikes in the San Gabriel Mountains! This 11.1-mile out-and-back trail takes us from Icehouse Canyon to the summit of Cucamonga Peak (8,862 ft), with sweeping views of the Inland Empire, Mt. Baldy, and beyond.
Weβll pass through shaded canyon trails, alpine forest, and exposed switchbacks as we make our way to the top. This is a challenging ascent with over 4,100 feet of elevation gain.

### π§ Important Notes:
- This hike is rated "Hard."
It is not suitable for beginner hikers or those with limited endurance. - Expect steep, rocky terrain and prolonged elevation gain.
- Bring 3+ liters of water, electrolytes, snacks/lunch, and sun protection.
- Trekking poles highly recommended.
- Start early to beat the heat and secure parking.
- Dogs allowed on leash, but please assess your dogβs conditioning.
