Relaxed Monday Hike (10km)

Hi All,

I hope you will all party on Sunday evening celebrating the Grand Duke's day. Well, actually it was his (great) grandma's birthday moved from January to June for the better weather. But anyway...

There is this simple CFL trail from Colmar Berg to Mersch. I was always hesitant to do it as it seems quite an easy trail. But it also seems like the perfect trail to get some movement after a long night. I plan to be slower than usual. Please remind me if needed.

I might deviate a bit from the trail at the beginning just to make sure sure people can see the Grand Duke's castle. I find it looks like an oversized Lego castle.

As you can guess from the meeting time, we won't have a lunch break. Though we will do a couple of water breaks. Looking at the weather forecast, bring sun cream and enough water with you.

Starting point: Colmar Berg Gare
Destination: Mersch Gare

Public transport: RE3610 direction Diekirch at 13:53 from Luxembourg Gare Centrale arriving 14:26

Parking: Available at both train stations
