Bird Watching in Manzanares El Real

After a successful trip to El Pardo, we will head to Manzanares El Real for our next Bird Watching trip. On the shores of Embalse Santillana we should see all kinds of species - this trip offers a variety of habitats and chance to see waders, ducks, raptors, gulls and familiar favourites like Kingfishers!

The meeting point is at the parking next to the Tanatorio on Calle de la Paz. From there we will walk towards the reservoir and then along the shore through the fields and woodlands. As always, bring good shoes, binoculars, and maybe a coffee in case it is chilly.

I will bring the telescope, a spare pair of binoculars and some bird guides to help everyone out with identification. The tours are given in English and Spanish.
