A group for all those interested in discovering birds and nature in Madrid. We will meet regularly to explore sites within and close to Madrid and look for some of the amazing species that inhabit this part of the World.

This has been one of our most successful trips, catching all kinds of raptors, waterbirds and singing spring specialities like Nightingales!
We will meet at 8.30am at the Soto de Las Juntas parking area near the Rivas Vaciamadrid stop at the end of Line 9 on the Metro. I can offer a few spaces from Barajas.
The walk should last about 3 hours and will be on easy terrain. Still, as always, bring some comfortable shoes and water.
I will bring a telescope to allow crystal clear views for all, and, as previously, guiding is done in English and Spanish.
