Join us for an engaging session at the Manchester Debate Group where we will dive into deep political discussions This event is designed for individuals passionate about thought-provoking debates and shared ideas.

Whether you are a seasoned debater or someone looking to learn more about politics, this event is open to all who are eager to engage in meaningful conversations. Come prepared to share your thoughts, listen to different perspectives, and be part of a vibrant discussion that aims to inspire and drive positive actions in our society.

Please post topic suggestions in a clear and transparent fashion so that people know what they are voting for and able to research before the meeting. Please post your ideas on this page or private message them to any of the Leadership team so that they can be printed and handed out to the group at Friday's meeting. Please can people kindly stick to 2 topic suggestions each.

This month’s theme around spirituality can include topics about faith, fortune telling, ghostly encounters, finding purpose in life.

It is your agenda so please post your comments and ideas to the website page or privately message the Leadership Team, so they can be on the agenda for September’s meeting.

RSVP and be part of the discussions around topics. You don’t need to have expert knowledge, we welcome your insight or if its your first meeting you may wish to just come and listen. Either way, RSVP and we look forward to seeing you there.

We currently have a healthy bank balance and are able to lower donations to £1.50 (cash please). This covers the group’s running costs. The donation is waived for those attending for the first time. We will be in the large meeting room upstairs at the Briton’s Protection.
