Awareness Play Workshop - 6:45 p.m. Wednesday 25/7 at the Kathleen Syme Library
Who says spirituality can’t be fun? Many of you will remember Andy’s last workshop with us four years ago and the wonderful time we had. Andy will be down from Byron Bay next week and will guide us through a similar workshop. Andy - “Awareness Play is about visceral experience. It is a light-hearted adventure through obscured aspects of the self; towards something greater, more satisfying and real. We explore the experience of safety, external support and inner strength; at times with the help of archetypal role play.” “Inspired by the works of Fritz Perls, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Carl Rogers, Alexander Lowen, Bert Hellinger and other great explorers of consciousness, Awareness Play is about attempting to touch deeper, freer layers of the self.” Andy - “As for myself, well I am a bit of a slow learner. Took me decades even to begin to understand the basics. In fact the mystery of it all allows me only to play around the edges a little bit. So I find myself delighted and amazed exploring subtle aspects of consciousness using a playful, gentle approach, and sharing the adventure with those who also enjoy such a ride. Some additional information can be found about Fritz Perls, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Carl Rogers, Alexander Lowen, Bert Hellinger and others, by following this link: The workshop will be in Multi Purpose Room 2 on the first floor of the library. There’s an optional gold coin donation for hire of the room, Stefan -[masked]
