Goderich hike
We are doing an extra hike this weekend in the beautiful town of Goderich.
Amazing trails. Let's meet at 9 a.m. at the Loblaws parking lot at 1740 Richmond street. Northeast corner of Richmond and Fanshawe park road.
( we will meet close to fanshawe Park Road in the front of loblaws in the corner of the parking lot )
We will see how many people we can carpool with. Leave a note in the messages if you have space in your vehicle. Also please remember to share gas price. 15 to 20 to the driver.
We'll head north on Richmond Street making a couple of stops along the way to use the washroom. Tim Hortons in Exeter and then Tim Hortons in Goderich.
The starting point of the hike is close to the Salt Mine located at the bottom of North Harbor Road. As you're heading out of Goderich on Highway 21 before you go over the bridge you will be turning left halfway down there is the start of the trail. The trail can be 10 km or it can be 16. The trail itself is 10 so you can do that and then go back to your car "or" there's another path that takes you through town and down to the beach. I am planning to do the whole 16 km.
This has been one of my favorite trails for many years. I'm looking forward to sharing it with you.
