Goderich hike
Goderich is a great escape into nature, with winding forest trails, towering trees, rolling terrain and plenty of those “wow, look at this!” moments along the way.
This hike is all about enjoying the outdoors, getting some fresh air and having a good time with fellow hikers. Expect a mix of woodland paths, gentle climbs, beautiful scenery and a few opportunities to test those legs!
So lace up your boots, bring your water, and come explore with us!
🥾 Good boots recommended
💧 Bring plenty of water
🌲 Nature + fresh air + good company = a pretty great day!
Come for the adventure!
Goderich is considered Canada's prettiest little town. This has been one of my favorite trails for many years. I'm looking forward to sharing it with you.
INSTRUCTIONS
Let's meet at 9 a.m. at the Loblaws parking lot at 1740 Richmond street. Northeast corner of Richmond and Fanshawe park road.
( we will meet close to fanshawe Park Road in the front of loblaws in the corner of the parking lot )
We will see how many people we can carpool with. Leave a note in the messages if you have space in your vehicle. Also please remember to share gas price. 15 to 20 to the driver.

We'll head north on Richmond Street making a couple of stops along the way to use the washroom. Tim Hortons in Exeter and then Tim Hortons in Goderich.
The starting point of the hike is close to the Salt Mine located at the bottom of North Harbor Road. As you're heading out of Goderich on Highway 21 before you go over the bridge you will be turning left halfway down there is the start of the trail. The trail can be 10 km or it can be 16. The trail itself is 10 so you can do that and then go back to your car "or" there's another path that takes you through town and down to the beach. I am planning to do the whole 16 km.

Because Making Friends as an adult is Hard! We will have different dynamics to get you chatting and getting to know others.

Overview
Speed Friending is a fun, interactive social event designed to help people meet new friends, expand their social circles, and connect with others in their community. This time with the fun of Carving pumpkins! Inspired by speed dating, the event features a series of short, friendly conversations that give participants the opportunity to meet multiple people in one evening—without the pressure of dating.
Participants will rotate between conversations, answer fun icebreaker questions, discover shared interests, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere where everyone has the opportunity to participate and carve pumpkins
Whether you're new to London, looking to expand your social circle, a student, a young professional, or simply interested in meeting new people, Speed Friending offers a relaxed way to make meaningful connections.
How It Works
Participants will be paired or seated in small groups for short conversations, typically lasting 5-7 minutes. When time is up, participants rotate and meet someone new. Conversation prompts and icebreaker activities will help keep things flowing naturally.
After the rotations, guests can mingle freely, enjoy refreshments, and reconnect with people they would like to get to know better.
Who Can Attend?
Anyone 18+.
The Atmosphere
Friendly, casual, inclusive, and pressure-free. The goal isn't to meet everyone or become best friends in one night—it's to create opportunities for genuine connections to begin.
